Featuring a built-in Java-free LX Platform network interface and an auto transfer switch, Tripp Lite's PDUMNH30HVAT 5.8kW Single-Phase Monitored ATS Power Distribution Unit (PDU) provides full remote power monitoring and a redundant power option for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. Connect the L6-30R output to a single device, or connect to a 0U vertical 30A 208/240V PDU (sold separately) to power additional outlets.
Dual PDU Inputs for Power Redundancy
The PDUMNH30HVAT has two 10 ft. input cords with L6-30P plugs to support connection to separate primary and secondary single-phase power sources, such as separate mains circuits, backup generators and even separate utility power grid feeds. The two power sources provide power redundancy for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. The dual power sources enable fault-tolerant, hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system (primary UPS should produce a sine wave with zero transfer time). The PDUMNH30HVAT has a rugged all-metal housing and provides selectable 208/240V output. Maximum input current is 30A.

Auto Transfer Switch (ATS) for Reliable, Continuous OutputDynamic solid-state (TRIAC) automatic transfer switching is supported by any two compatible AC power sources. The PDUMNH30HVAT supplies continuous output from the primary power source. If the primary source fails or becomes unstable, the ATS switches to the secondary power source until the primary source is restored. An on-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both input sources to prevent transfer to the secondary source when it’s unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. The transfer between power sources happens in 1 to 5 milliseconds, ensuring uninterrupted operation of connected equipment. | Advanced Network Monitoring CapabilitiesA built-in Java-free, HTML5-based LX Platform network interface enables full remote access for power monitoring, configuration and control via a secure network or web browser interface. Tiered access privileges can be configured from full administrator to view-only operator. Real-time clock backup maintains the time of day and date even if the PDU is shut down and unpowered. Ideal for data centers and server rooms, it mounts in 1U of space in EIA-standard 19-inch racks and features one L6-30R outlet—perfect for connecting a single device or a 0U 208/240V PDU with an L6-30P plug. Dual 10-foot input cords with L6-30P plugs connect to separate primary and secondary single-phase power sources. The PDU constantly evaluates the power quality of both input sources. Dynamic solid-state (TRIAC) automatic transfer switching allows the PDU to switch to the secondary source within 1–5 milliseconds should the primary source fail or become unstable to ensure your connected equipment operates without interruption. Built-in LX Platform network management interface card. The Java-free LX Platform HTML5-based network interface enables full remote access for PDU status monitoring andemail notifications via secure web browser, SNMP, telnet or SSH.
